Tree removal

Tree removal, done in one visit

Dead, storm-damaged, too close to the house, or just too big for the yard it's in — whole-tree removal, large trees included, with the stump and the debris handled the same day where the job allows it.

Signs a tree needs to come down

  • Dead or bare limbs on more than a quarter of the canopy
  • A lean that's gotten worse, or new since the last storm
  • Mushrooms or soft, spongy bark at the base — usually root or trunk rot
  • A crack or split running into the trunk, not just a branch
  • Roots lifting the slab, the pool deck, or the sewer line

How the job goes

An estimator walks the tree first — access, what's underneath it, where a section can safely drop or has to be roped down instead. You get one written price before anything is cut, and it includes the stump grind and the haul-off unless you tell us to leave the wood. Most residential removals are a one-day job; multi-tree lots and storm cleanup run longer, and we say so up front, not after.

Frequently asked questions

How much does tree removal cost?

It depends on size, how close it is to a structure or power line, and how it has to come down — by open drop or roped down section by section. We don't publish a rate card because those factors change the job too much for a number to mean anything; an estimator measures the actual tree and gives you one fixed price, free, before anything is scheduled.

Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Broward County?

Often, yes — most Broward cities require a permit for a healthy tree over a certain size, though dead, hazardous, or storm-damaged trees are usually exempt with documentation. Rules vary by city, so we check yours before we schedule, and HOA communities may have their own approval on top of the city's.

What happens to the wood and debris?

It leaves with us the same visit unless you ask us to leave rounds for firewood. The stump gets ground below grade so you can sod or replant over it — no separate visit needed.
